Following a 10-cent rise in the price per gallon last week, diesel prices surged once more. This week, the rise was 3.5323 cents per gallon, resulting in an average price of $3.571 per gallon. This week, the price skyrocketed to $3.775 per gallon. Nine out of ten regions experienced increases in the double digits. New England was the exception, with only a nine-cent rise from $3.895 to $3.967. The most significant increase was observed in the Midwest Region, which saw a 24-cent rise from $3.537 to $3.777. Additionally, the Gulf Coast Region experienced a 22-cent increase, climbing from $3.212 to $3.436, while the Lower Atlantic Region surged from $3.532 to $3.725.
