The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) responded to a multiple fatality crash in Martin County on Saturday night.
The crash occurred shortly after 11 p.m. on October 31, 2026, on I-95 northbound between mile markers 113 and 114 in Martin County, Florida.
Officials say a 2012 Kenworth truck with a trailer was parked on the paved shoulder of northbound I-95.
A 2017 Toyota Camry was traveling in the outside northbound lane on I-95 when, for unknown reasons, the car exited its lane and collided with the left rear of the parked truck. The crash caused the Camry to spin across all lanes of northbound I-95 before coming to a stop on the left shoulder.
Three people inside the Camry died in the crash, including a 31-year-old man, a 5 year-old child, and a woman whose age was not provided by police. The Camry driver, a 31-year-old woman, and an 11-year-old girl were hospitalized with injuries.
The driver of the semi truck, a 60-year-old Florida resident, was not injured.
Northbound I-95 was closed for several hours but reopened at 5 a.m. on November 1.
Assisting agencies include Martin County Fire Rescue and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash is under investigation.
