Averitt (CCJ Top 250, No. 25) is expanding its partnership with bourbon distilleries by adding dedicated tanker truck services to support the industry’s growing production needs in Kentucky.
Kentucky produces about 95% of the world’s bourbon supply and as of 2024, the state is home to 115 licensed distillers in 40 counties.
The Cookeville, Tenn.-based carrier, a Kentucky Distillers’ Association transportation partner, has supported the state’s bourbon industry for more than five decades with barrel movements, dedicated transportation, and just-in-time delivery of glass.
The addition of tanker truck services marks the next step in that progression, providing a more efficient method for transporting bulk spirits as brands continue to scale.
