A truck driver’s tik tok recently went viral for the claim that he passed a scale at 102 mph and got away with it.
In the video, the truck driver shows a clip of a tanker truck going fast, but seemingly not 102 mph, and then cuts to a voicemail allegedly from his boss, chewing him out for the incident.
“102 mph, are you KIDDING ME?!?” the apparent voicemail says.
“I just got a phone call from state police, saying that we had a truck bypass the scale at 102… Are you trying to get my truck impounded?!”
“You wanna know what saved your a**?” the apparent boss on the voicemail says. “You know what stopped him from chasing you…? The trooper had to take a s**t, so he couldn’t be bothered to chase you, but he called me and said he clocked you at 102.”
“You better call me back,” the voicemail continues. “You know what? Don’t call me back. Give me like six hours to calm down then call me back.”
There are no obvious comments on the original video pointing out that this has to be fake… but how could this possibly be real? The original video has been viewed more than 9 million times. Check it out for yourself below.
