INDIANAPOLIS — Investigators are examining a fatal accident in Indiana that occurred on Friday involving a semi-truck. According to WRTV, the Indiana State Police is probing the collision that took place on I-70 between a semi tractor-trailer and a car at approximately 4:45 p.m. According to reports, the ISP received multiple calls regarding an accident on I-70 westbound close to the 83-mile marker. The callers indicated that a semi had spilled its entire cargo onto the road, and the driver was unresponsive. Upon arrival, Troopers and other emergency responders found the semi’s driver unconscious and not breathing. The driver, a male, was declared dead at the scene. According to ISP, none of the passengers in the other vehicle sustained severe injuries.
