The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) said that action was taken against multiple motor carriers and a commercial driver’s license (CDL) school associated with a high-profile fatality crash that took place in Jasper County, Indiana, earlier this month.

On February 13, 2026, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy reported that several actions were taken against trucking companies and a trucking school associated with Bekzhan Beishekeev, 30, a Kyrgyzstan national illegally present in the U.S. who was involved in a fatal crash in Indiana, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

From Duffy:

“After a Kyrgyzstani illegal alien plowed his big rig into a van and killed four men from a tight-knit Amish community, this is what USDOT is doing NOW:

  • KNOCKED OUT OF SERVICE: Illegal trucker’s employer, AJ Partners
  • KNOCKED OUT OF SERVICE: Two other SHADY carriers connected to AJ Partners – Tutash Express & Sam Express
  • REVOKED CERTIFICATION: Sham school, Aydana, that helped the illegal trucker get a license

This crackdown is JUST GETTING STARTED. We will not rest until every bad actor is held ACCOUNTABLE. Thank you Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for your quick work.“

On February 3, 2026, Beishekeev was operating a semi truck east on S.R. 67 near County Road 550 East in Jay County, Indiana, when he failed to slow for traffic and then swerved into the westbound lane, striking a van carrying six people, according to police.

Four of the occupants of the van died in the crash, 50-year-old Henry Eicher, 25-year-old Menno Eicher, 19-year-old Paul Eicher and 23-year-old Simon Girod.

Shortly after the crash Beishekeev was issued an ICE detainer.

ICE partially blamed the crash on the Biden Administration and the state of Pennsylvania for issuing a non-domiciled CDL to Beishekeev even though he was present in the U.S. illegally.

“Beishekeev entered the U.S. using the Biden admin’s disastrous CBP One App and was issued his CDL by Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s Department of Transportation,” ICE said.
