The HISTORY Channel announced the return of the popular television series “Ice Road Truckers” after many years off the air.
On September 3, 2025, the HISTORY Channel announced that “Ice Road Truckers” would return for a twelfth season with drivers Todd Dewey and Lisa Kelly behind the wheel. The show has been off air since season 11 aired in 2017.
“After a long hiatus, the fearless truckers return like never before to the treacherous terrain of icy roads and frozen lakes in Northern Canada delivering crucial supplies and necessities to isolated communities. With a winter window shorter than ever and no time to waste, these drivers risk everything to haul in a lifeline of goods while chasing big paydays before the opportunity melts away under their chained tires,” the HISTORY Channel said of the new season.
The new season of “Ice Road Truckers” is set to premiere at 9:30 p.m. eastern on Wednesday, October 1.
